1.Do you human rights and democracy require a spiritual commitment to the equality and dignity of all human beings? If some religious prescribe different roles for men and women, is this compatible with the equal worth of all human beings?
2.Consider the list of responsibilities outlined in the declarations associated with the global ethic. Are there reasonable demands on the world’s people regardless of their beliefs? Could or should a secular person endorse the global ethic?
3.Do ethical principles have a universal appeal? What opportunities do they present for a global civics?
