Opinion forum
Participants would be asked to come up with their own answers to two of three assignments:
1.What would you tell the seven-billionth person about the life and the world that awaits her?
2.If you were the speechwriter of the next UN secretary general, what would you have secretary general say at the next UN General Assembly?
3.If you were asked to address the World Economic Forum plenary in Davos, what would you tell the attendees?
The group would then discuss each submission and assess whether there are compelling similarities or differences. In case of significant overlap, the group can compile individual submissions along with their version of Global Civics 2.0 to be shared with other peers.

Debate topic
The class must split into four groups. Each pair of groups will be given a topic that they will debate using opposing arguments:
Group 1 and 2: Global civics is an unattainable ideal
Groups 3 and 4: the world’s youth have a considerable role to play in the achievement of a global civics
Each group will have 15 minutes to make its case, with twenty minutes for discussion after each debate.
