University of Jordan is the first higher education institute in Jordan. It was established in 1962 with only one faculty. Now, the University of Jordan offers more than 3500 courses by more than 18 faculties. Students can choose from more than 63 programs at the undergraduate level, 81 programs in the Master level, 16 programs in the Higher Specialization in medicine, one program in Higher Specialization in dentistry, 3 Professional Diploma programs, 6 interdisciplinary Master’s programs and 30 Doctorate programs. More than 38000 students are enrolled in all of these programs in both undergraduate and graduate levels. From these, there are more than 3000 students from more than 72 different nationalities who are enrolled at the University of Jordan in both graduate and undergraduate programs.
