Dr. Dajani has been announced as one of the top influential Muslims in the MENA region by The 500 Most Influential Muslims annual publication whichis compiled by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in Amman, Jordan for her passion to make a change that will have a significant impact on the Muslim world.
Rana Dajani is a professor of Molecular Biology who obtained her degree from the University of Iowa through the Fulbright program. Dr Rana is also a renowned public speaker and has given speeches internationally. Her initiative "We Love Reading" garnered her the Synergos award for Arab world social innovators in 2009. Other awards include: a membership to the Clinton Global Initiative 2010, a place in the book of Innovation in Education: Lessons from Pioneers Around the World. She was also named one of the 20 most influential scientists in the Muslim world by the Muslim-Science British Magazine. Dr Dajani was on the list for the past three years.
